history meets eclectic
Formerly located on Monterey Street across from the San Luis Obispo courthouse, Luna Red relocated in April of 2012 and re-opened its doors on Chorro Street, next to the historic Mission Plaza. Robin, Luna Red's co-owner, has honored the Spanish-style building by filling it with eclectic décor. The patio, complete with outdoor cabana bar, bright umbrellas & patio furniture do all to promise our patrons a fantastic experience. Our Chef has created a truly unique menu, a combination of small plates & family-style entrees.

As the sister restaurant to award-winning Novo Restaurant & Lounge downtown SLO and the beloved destination restaurant, Robin's Restaurant located in the coastal community of Cambria, Luna Red has organically created its own identity with its eclectic décor, vibrant patio, and fine-dining etiquette delivered in a casual, comforting atmosphere. We are honored that our restaurants are consistently noted in the New Times's "Best Of SLO County" awards each year and that we are chosen as the celebratory venues for our guests and their loved ones to spend holidays and life's special events.
